A Sad, Sad Day

First Blueprint closed, then Domino. I recently found out that Southern Accents magazine is closing. Is someone playing a dirty trick on me?! This is horrible news. I'm still completely deflated.

SA has been the magazine I most anticipate. So much of my design style and influences came from living in the South (my family was there ten years) and SA was not only a much-needed tie to that very memorable period of my life but also a source of continual inspiration unmatched by other design publications.

I hope that some higher power will bring Southern Accents back as soon as possible... until then, I guess I'll have my tearsheets.
