Ben's mom hosts a birthday dinner once a month for anyone in the family who's having a birthday. With so many in number we don't go a month without a party. It is fun to see the kids open presents with their cousins - no shortage of excitement. Here are the pictures from the August celebration - where Blair was one of the honorary birthday girls along with McCall and Halle.
Along with multiple presents, Kathy gives each grandchild her own cake! She spares no expense making sure it's just what the child loves or requests. Halle requested a homemade layer cake and Kathy adorned it with donuts and princesses - how fabulous!
Blair loved her own full-size sheet cake (!) and musical cars but wasn't quite sure what to think of the cake itself. She got so excited when the cousins were singing happy birthday - she squished up her face and it was hilarious. She needed help blowing out her candle... do you think there were a few kids around who were happy to help? The cousins were so attentive to her all afternoon, helping her open presents and showing her what each of them did. It was too cute.
