Taryn and Reese came to visit this week. We have had the best time together! Reese is such a trooper - she wakes up happy, naps well, and once dressed, is set for the whole day! She loves outings with her mommy and is always ready to meet new people. We didn't go anywhere that she didn't walk up to a person (or whole table of people) she didn't know and smile. Then she waits for a smile in return and then, voila!, new friends.
Mom came down for a few days too- like her daughters and granddaughter, she hates to miss the fun. We didn't plan much but just loved entertaining Reese all day long. Reese adores her MommaCat. Reese was happy that we arranged a sleepover on Friday night with her long-distance friend, Halle. She loved learning from Halle how to throw mints and make new faces!
Saturday afternoon Reese and I went for a walk to let Taryn rest. We loaded up and went all around the neighborhood and up to the clubhouse. She had her binky and her Jeffrey and was happy to take in some fresh Park City air. Afterward, we waited for Ben to come home and Reese just had to be outside... so we had a little lesson about trees. Reese thought it was funny.
I don't have many toys at the house, but Reese became quickly entertained by the bowl of mints on the coffee table. She also loves to play hide-and-seek with Ben and follow him around. Taryn and Reese leave first thing tomorrow and I'm already feeling sad to see them go. Luckily I'll be seeing them in Miami in a few weeks - hurrah for a girls trip!
My mom was so pleased that Reese made friends with her at the airport. When do you guys go to Miami?
